AC Valley Sunset was bred by Andrew Jamieson in Kentville, Nova Scotia. This strawberry is a late season variety that will ripen 5-7 days later than Cabot. Plant shows good vigor with no apparent foliage disease concerns. Berries are lighter red, shiny and large-sized. Flavor and yield are very good. With its softer skin, fruit is best suited for local fresh market to extend the season.
