Galetta Origin: North Carolina State University
A productive early variety with dark red fruit that cap easily. Galetta is
susceptible to winter injury and performs best in the southern third of
Minnesota and points south.

Galletta ripens early season and produces large sized berries. Attractive, glossy fruit have excellent flavor. Customers are reporting that Galletta is highly productive and holds fruit size well through the season. It is rapidly growing in popularity. The plant is vigorous and shows tolerance to foliage diseases. Being an Earliglow hybrid, it has tolerance to Red Stele disease. This is a variety that will grow in heavy soil.
